So I am thinking of getting into this game.

For some reason every winter I get the itch to start painting some minis, but I never do because I keep getting deterred by the absurdly high price tag.

But if I were going to get into it, I was wondering if anyone had any advice? Buying, painting, whatever.

I would definitely be playing Tau. I was thinking about using this color scheme, but I wonder if the camo might be a bit advanced for a newbie.

Just an update. I went ahead and bit the bullet and ordered the Tau Battleforce boxed set to save myself a little cash. I still haven't made up my mind how to paint it.
