I saw this on another yahoo group and thought I'd re-post.

"Charlaine Harris, author of Dead Until Dark and the
Sookie Stackhouse/Southern Vampire series will be in
Omaha, signing copies of her newest book, From Dead to
Worse, in just a few weeks.

As you may remember, Dead Until Dark was a book club
selection in the summer of 2007. This book is serving
as the basis for a new HBO series called True Blood,
premiering later this year.
