After last year's con, I was hoping we'd get another sci fi convention. Now I'm wondering, when did Osfest 2 turn into a Lit convention?

Seriously, 11 or 12 writer guests? That's a Lit con.

I hope you know what you're doing.

11 or 12 writer guests? I only count two official writer guests on the website. If there is more listed please point them out so I may see who is attending.

You haven't seen the convention website? Okey dokey, here's a few links. http://www.osfes.org/osfest.htm - main page

http://www.osfes.org/guests.htm - Initial guest list, with writers Anderson (1) and Moesta (2)

http://www.osfes.org/AdditionalGuests.htm - Additional guests, with writers including Campbell (3), Rotundo (4), etc., etc., etc.

The author guest of honor is Kevin J Anderson. His wife, Rebecca Moesta, is accompanying him and since she is also an author is listed too.

Several other authors were kind enough to volunteer to do readings which I see as a nice bonus for the local fans. It is a science fiction convention after all. :D

There is a lot of other activities at this year's convention including gaming if that floats your boat and some really cool panels scheduled. The ConSuite promises to be top notch and the huckster room should provide some nice shopping.

All in all, I can't wait!

I am not a writer, not a new face, but shoot, now I feel like chopped liver....I think I will nip down to the deli and get some....;-)

Seriously I had a great time with good people. Were there some rough spots? Sure. But they were not big, didn't detract from the weekend and they can be ironed out with a small spot of tuning.

All in all, a great time and I will return without a doubt!
